If you don’t have insurance or if your insurance does not cover all or most of your costs, we offer a variety of affordable payment plans, CHP+, Medicaid (keep scrolling for more info on these).

No insurance? We offer payment plans
If you don’t have insurance or if your insurance does not cover all or most of your costs, we offer a variety of affordable payment plans. Let us work with you to make your visit, and your dental health, as satisfactory as possible.
Self-Pay
We welcome families that don’t have dental insurance and aren’t eligible for public health programs. We know that many small businesses may not provide dental coverage or only offer medical insurance. If you don’t have insurance, please visit us to discuss our payment plans.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a medical and dental care credit card accepted nationwide. Kid Focus Dentistry is proud to be a local dentistry in Wheat Ridge that accepts CareCredit. CareCredit is a payment option that you can use along with most insurance plans.

Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
Kid Focus Dentistry also provides dental care through Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+). Which is a public health insurance program for low-income children ages 18 and under. This program emphasizes preventative care, covering one routine visit (first visit or hygiene) per year. In addition, CHP+ provides a limited amount of dental treatments, up to $600 annually. CHP+ is administered by Delta Dental of Colorado. CHP+ patients must have a valid Delta Dental card issued to be eligible for this program. See CHPplus.org for details.
Dentistry for children with Medicaid
Kid Focus Dentistry is proud to be a public healthcare provider of Medicaid for children up to age 21. We believe all patients in the Denver area deserve equal care, regardless of their income. We can usually schedule Medicaid dentist appointments within one week. Often, same-day Medicaid dentist appointments are available as well.
We accept Medicaid for:
- Most general dentistry services
- Initial xxams
- Bi-annual hygiene exams
- Emergency exams and treatments
- Referrals to orthodontists for braces
There are some treatments Medicaid does not cover. In these cases, we will discuss additional costs with you before we treat your children. If you’re unsure what procedures are covered by Medicaid, the Colorado Medicaid website provides more information.
Medicaid transportation
Medicaid provides transportation for families through its Non-Emergent Medical Transportation (NEMT) program. See NEMT or call toll free at 1-855-264-6368 for more information. The Colorado NEMT service extends from Wheat Ridge, Arvada, and the surrounding Denver area.
Kid Focus Dentistry is a preferred in-network provider for most PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) and EPO (Exclusive Provider Organization) plans. We do not participate in any Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) plans.
