Usually as kids we've all hated going to the dentist, but going to Kids Focus Dentistry, was and is a mind changing experience. My younger brother and I have been attending this dentistry for about six years now and every time the staff and the doctor have treated us with kindness and respect. I would highly command this facility to anyone who is looking for a dentistry or to change from one to another. The patients are the staff's and Dr. Ngo's main and highest priority and you will never feel more welcome anywhere else.read more

I like how they were able to see both of my children together at the same time and they got us in the same day I called. I highly recommend this Dental office. We have been coming here since my oldest turned 1, she is 8 now! All three of my kids love it here. The staff and Dr. Ngo is like family to us, my kids have never felt scared they are so comfortable here. We usually schedule everyone at once, but once in a while I have to take 1 kid back, and when I do my youngest who is 3 cries if they are not working on her teeth, they just really love it here!read more

Kids Focus Dentistry in Wheat Ridge is amazing!! My 4 year old daughter had to get filings and they were so caring and nurturing with her. They explain everything in detail and walk you through everything that will be done. They were so kind, gentle and encouraging with her and helped her get through an appointment that we could have easily had to come back again to finish. Dr. Ngo, Katie and Nicole were the best! I recommend Kids Focus Dentistry to anyone with children looking for a great Dentist and staff. I've been taking my daughter here for a few years, twice a year, and we love it! They are awesome with the kiddos, explain things in lamens, and keep things short and sweet. My daughter literally looks forward to coming every 6 months. They call and remind me every 6 months to make an appt, which is awesome, because I suck at remembering things like that. They except lots of insurances, and I've never had a problem with cost. I would definitely recommend!read more

I loved that they gave me a tour of the place and helped make it as easy as possible for my son. This was my son's 1st dental visit, and overall he did great. They were very welcoming and ready to answer questions and concerns of mine. So glad I was referred to them.

I love to bring the kids here. My son is very nervous coming to the dentist, but once we get here their team does all they can to make him feel comfortable. They explain their procedures in a way we can all understand, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

I live pretty far from this dentist office, but so many friends recommended it. The first time my son had to go to the dentist was nerve racking for the both of us, all the toys up front helped him get comfortable. They did their best to get everything done, there were a few pictures he refused to take and they understood. The dr was great, she was gentle and quick. The 2nd visit was even better, my son did not want to let them brush his teeth or take pictures, but Ms. Nicole was amazing! She walked him through each step and got everything they needed, he left pretty excited. I would highly recommend this office.read more

Our first visit with Kid's Focus Denistry was when my daughter was just 3yrs old, and now she is 7yrs old and we have still continued to use Kid Focus Dentistry. I am very happy with Dr. Ngo and her team. They are awesome. My daughter needed some teeth pulled and when we walked in she was nervous scared, and didn't know what to expect. Nicole Woods who is a dental assistant there, took Bella under her wing and eased her anxiety. She was able to calm her down and reassure her that everything would be okay. The ladies take their time to explain what it is that they were doing step by step. Teeth pulling was a success and my daughter walked out with a smile. I would recommend this practice to anyone in confidence that their children will get the best of care possible. Thank you girls for all you do! We love ya!read more

This place is amazing I've never been more happy and comfortable than I have at this place my kids felt really loved it here these folks were made for kids they have the most amazing attitudes and the kindness they show to the kids so they know going to the dentist doesn't have to be scary. If your looking for a perfect place for your kids this is it. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Not menton no wait really they take you back very quickly, I got my appointment time wrong our first time here so I was an hour early and no problem they let me know and then took me right back in sure they couldn't always do this but I was so extremely impressed with their amazing compassion for children. My daughter had a visit at this office and let's just say we walked out with help????Yes, major work was needed for my daughter. I felt the dentist at this location did not take the time to find a solution or a temp fix. Very quick visit and my daughter left in serious pain! Maybe this place is ok for very minor dentistry. Oh yes, Another thing to add diagnosis given was completely incorrect. No follow up call either.read more

Hands down this place is truly kid friendly! My son had been to 2 other offices that just didn’t give us good vibes.After being tied down to a board when he was little, I could barley walk into any dentist office without him going into tears. Considering the work he has to have done we really wanted a place that made him feel comfortable. I stopped in just to get some more info about there services and possibly set up an appointment. After the gentleman in the front gave me some good insight about the company I agreed to set up an appointment. A lady came around an stated they had time to do an appointment right then and there if I had time. I agreed and they took us back. Nicole was amazing with my son along with Doc. Nicole gave him a tour and showed him everything they were going to do. After meeting with the doc she gave us a lot of advise and referred us to a specialist. I will would definitely refer them to anyone who’s child is scared, they made my son smile and that made me smile!! My daughter who has developmental speech delay was very comfortable here. The front room was great and fun for her while we waited and we were greeted by the staffas her parents right away like they make sure they know who you are they're not just calling out another name on a list to bring you back. The staff and the Dr were all so friendly, they brought my daughter in the back explained everything to us did an informative thorough exam and sent us on our way with gifts for my little one and my daughter happy as ever! We went in to be seen and my son had a very small surface cavity in between his teeth. The Dentist went in for a filling, went too deep with her drill and his perfectly healthy tooth then had to be replaced with a root canal. My son had gone in with a healthy tooth and came out with a fake one. I don't think I could ever trust this practice again to take care of minor cavities let alone my child's dental health. We didn't even have a choice. Once she went in too deep all they could do was a root canal. I thought dentist were trained to save the tooth. The cavity was so small in the X-ray that the dentist had to circle around it to show me. I will never go here again.read more

My kiddo let you fix his cavity today!!! We have been coming for over a year now, and it took all that time to get him to today! I am so proud of him, and THANKFUL to Dr. Ngo and all her team as EVERYBODY worked so hard to get kiddo to this day. He had a horrible experience when he was 5 and it traumatized all of us. I called today for an appointment for my 4 girls. They were able to get my three younger ones in today because my oldest was at school. They were so awesome!!! First, let’s start by saying how amazing this office truly is. Everyone from the moment you walk in, gives you a warm and welcoming feeling. Previously, we used to see a different dentist for our two boys (5yrs &9yrs) but I was questioning their methods and just lack of information. We came to focus for a second opinion on dental work for our oldest and WOW are we glad we came. I am definitely more knowledgeable about tongue tie and the affects on our child’s everyday living. Myobrace is awesome and my oldest took to the routine without problems. They communicate directly with the kids so they feel involved and understand what’s going on. Our youngest is very sensitive and they handled him with such ease. My grandson had a very extensive traumatizing past with a couple of different dentist's offices. He was petrified of going for even just a cleaning. Now, thanks to the total "focus on kids" at Kids Focus Dentistry, he actually likes and looks forward to going to the dentist! WOW, what a difference! The hygienists as well as the doctors go out of their way to ensure each child's comfort and parent's and child's understanding of everything, start to finish! We have been with them for more than 5 years now. Everyone here is AWESOME! Great service. Keep you informed about everything they do for your kids. I like their safety measurements during the Covid-19 pandemic. In general, I highly recommend them for your kids dentistry needs.

Today we have my daughter’s checkup appointment and it was an overall good experience. The doctor was great as most of the staff. Very cautious and welcoming as usual. The only observation I would make so it can be improved moving forward is to make sure there is always a step for little kids to reach the sink. Right after my daughter’s cleaning she was asked to rinse her mouth and they didn’t have a step handy and the assistant that did the cleaning was rushing my daughter to rinse her mouth but she couldn’t even talk and reach the sink and I had to hurry and help my daughter. Nothing super wrong about it but there was a step near by that could have been placed there in advanced. And less rushing is also appreciated.read more

Their covid policies are worse than our own government. Fyi if you have more than 1 kid schedule their appointments on different days they will not let 2 adults in even if you are there to help your spouse with your kids. What a joke!!

I would not recommend this office to anyone. They try to sell you unnecessary appliances and recommend you go to speech therapists when it is not needed. In addition their work fails, sealants do not last and filling fall out. Why put your kids through multiple visits for them to re-do terrible work when you can go to a dentist that will do it right the first time.read more

We used to receive great service but over the last two years or so, they have been not so great. It seems like they over-book their appointments and you end up waiting an hour after your appointment time to get started. So impressed!!! I am new to the area and was in search of a good pediatric dentist for my 4-year-old son. He had never been to the dentist before and I had quite a bit of anxiety about taking him. When we got there, we were greeted by Wendy, who was very kind and so sweet with my son - put me at ease right away. She put on a cartoon on the TV they have on the ceiling, so my son could watch. She cleaned my sons teeth so gently and made him feel so comfortable. I love the way she spoke to him and the cute kid-terms she used for the dental instruments, to make it fun and non-intimidating. Dr. Ngo was his dentist and she is outstanding! So warm and professional. Found out my son had 4 cavities and she filled all of them on his first visit. She was so fast and efficient, and my son didn't complain or cry one time! We were in and out in no time and they gave my son a sword balloon and a flying airplane to take home. He said on the way home "the dentist is fun!!" Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and I will be bringing my son here for many years to come!read more

Usually this dental office has been 5+ stars, but today their customer service was horrible. The text I received stated masks for kids was encouraged but NOT mandatory. As we walked in the receptionist said very loudly do you have masks? I said no. She proceeded to put our personal information out in the lobby! Unacceptable! They have a new sign on the door stating anyone under 12 must wear a mask. That sign wasn't there a week ago when the kid had his 6 month checkup, but had to have a follow up treatment. Maybe the receptionist should be trained on how to treat customers that weren't told about their new guidelines.read more

Our daughter has been a patient her entire life (11 years), and so has my son (2 years). Thankfully we’ve only ever had to do a filling once in that time, and the cleanings are a breeze. Assistants know what they’re doing, and you actually get to spend real dedicated time with your dentist. She’s not afraid to explain everything to you fully, and treats me and my children with respect and kindness. In the entire time we’ve been coming here I don’t think any of the employees have changed, which says a lot about the practice. Been taking my kids to Kid Focus for about 7 to 8 years. This place never disappoints, their staff is friendly, it is always clean; they are always on top of everything. They actually do take you in at your appointment time (no long waits in the waiting room).My kids love that they can watch TV from the ceiling while they are laying down on the dental chair/bed so they can work on their teeth. I would not recommend this dentist. She did a lot of unnecessary work for my son, put in a lot of silver caps. After a bit 4 of those silver caps needed to be pulled because of an infection. I was told this was most likely due to a poor job done on her part. Now my 6 year old has a tooth missing on almost every side with multiple spacers until the adult teeth grow in. Absolutely infuriating and frustrating. Avoid this dentist.read more

Both of my children have been coming to this dentist since they were toddlers. I have never had a bad experience here. And my children do not even remember being scared their first few appointments. The staff is always very welcoming. And they always provide a family friendly environment. We got paper bags and bamboo toothbrushes this time. And that made my heart so happy. Because I am a recycle, environmental, save the sea turtles Mama. We will continue to come here until the transition into adult dentists. KFD is awesome! My son's crown broke and was pointing inward in his mouth. KFD got my son on the schedule quickly. They quickly handled the situation when we arrived and we were out the door and my son was back in school. Everyone was friendly and they explained what they were doing.

Let me just say First Impressions are everything to me. So when I first walked in and seen the front desk they have a list of what codes are used for insurance and how much things cost. There was a mix up with our appointment and it was not our day to be seen. The Dental Assistant told me to hang tight and she would see if they could fit us in. Wow! Needless to say they were seen that day and so fast also. My 6 and 3yr old love this place. They didn't want to leave. They asked me when they can go back. The dental assistant got my little one to actually use the rubber spin brush on him for the first time. They showed him how it felt first and reassured him it would not hurt. They have a T.V on the ceiling with his favorite show. They made both my kids so comfortable they can't wait to go back. Dr. Nyo is so nice, she explains everything to you. She relieved my nerves when she told me my daughter had 1 small cavity between her teeth. My 6 yr old has very bad PTSD from Advance Choice Dental, vision and Braces on 38th and Sheridan who Said she had 4 cavities and put crowns on her baby teeth when she didn't need them (STAY CLEAR OF CHOICE DENTAL). The staff is all tailored to every child’s needs. I have watched them provide excellent service to not only my 4 children for the last 13 years but any child that is in there. I bring 4 wild children in at the same time everytime and although they are grown to not being running wild anymore, when they were they understood and were respectful. They are a well oiled machine and dr. NGO is amazing. They are gentle and allow the children a safe place to take it all in. This place will not traumatize your children. I have been bringing my daughters to Kid Focus Dentistry for the past couple of years. They are very kid friendly. My girls love to come in and play with the variety of toys. They have movies on during the exam. TV's are on the ceilings. After the exam, they get a fun balloon to take home. Dr. Ngo always explains how the exam went to the kids and parents. The My kids look forward to their visits.
